$50 for the first to 1,000 points
Every like is 1 point (up to 10 from each account), and every brownie point is 1 point. The first user to reach 1,000 points wins a $50 cash prize. There’s no deadline: it ends the moment someone gets there.

Create a free account
All you need is a username and an email. If a friend sent you a referral code, enter it when you sign up: you’ll both get 3 brownie points once you upload your first study guide.

Like 5 study guides or practice sets
Find a few made by other students that you’d actually use and hit Like. This unlocks uploading your own.
Browse practice sets → - 3
Share your own guides and practice sets
Upload a PDF study guide from your dashboard, or a multiple-choice CSV on the Practice page. Then use the Share link button on it to send it to classmates. Every like from someone else is 1 point, up to 10 from each account.

Earn brownie points every day
Finish your daily quests (the Daily quests button in the bottom corner), and invite friends with your referral code. Each brownie point adds 1 point to your score.
How your score works
Liking your own work doesn’t count. Brownie points belong to your account, not to a guide, and reset to zero when the contest ends.
Three ways to earn brownie points
Daily quests: 1 point a day
Finish both in the same day (they reset at midnight Central):
- ★ Answer 10 practice questions correctly (regular, SAT, or both)
- ★ Upload an MCQ practice set (CSV) or a study guide
Track them with the Daily quests button in the bottom corner when you’re signed in.
Referrals: 3 points each
Every account has a referral code on its dashboard. When a friend signs up with your code and uploads their first study guide, you each get 3 brownie points. Your friend needs to sign up with Google or with a Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, or school email for it to count, and the guide has to be public and their own work.
Find your referral code →Special events: points vary
Every so often Student Acer posts a task, like making a study guide on a certain unit. Open the Special event tab on the right side of the site, press Start, and upload your work. Student Acer picks the best entry, and the winner gets the event’s points.
New events are emailed to every account with a verified email.

Official rules
No purchase necessary. Student Acer is free, and entering costs nothing. Every account that shares a study guide or practice set, or earns a brownie point, is entered automatically.
How the score works. Each like across all of your study guides and shared practice sets is 1 point, and each brownie point is worth 1 point. Likes on SAT questions and on Student Acer’s own guides and sets don’t count.
Which likes count. Likes from any signed-in account count, except liking your own guide or set. One account can give you at most 10 points per contest: only its first 10 likes on your guides and sets count, though it can keep liking them. A like that’s removed stops counting.
Brownie points. Brownie points are awarded automatically by Student Acer, never by other users, and belong to your account rather than to any one guide. There are three ways to earn them. Daily quests: answer 10 different practice questions correctly (the first answer to each question is the one that counts) and upload either a practice set or a study guide, both on the same day (Central time), for 1 brownie point per day. Uploads must be real, original study material, and each account can post up to 5 study guides and practice sets a day (combined); spam or copied uploads can be removed along with the points they earned. Referrals: when someone enters your referral code while signing up, then uploads their first study guide, you each get 3 brownie points. Each account can only be referred once, and a referral only counts if the new account signs up with Google or with a Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, or school email. Temporary email addresses can’t be used to sign up. The guide has to be public and the new account’s own work, not a copy of one already on the site, and the points only count while it stays up. Special events: press Start on the event, upload your entry before it closes, and if Student Acer picks yours as the winner you get the points that event lists. Uploading requires liking 5 study guides or practice sets first, like every new account. Brownie points reset to zero when the contest ends.
When it ends. There’s no end date. The first account to reach 1,000 points wins, and the contest ends at that moment; likes and brownie points after it don’t count. If a like is removed (including fake likes removed for breaking the rules), the result is worked out again from the likes that remain.
Fair play. Making extra accounts, trading or buying likes, bots, scripts, or anything else that breaks the Terms disqualifies you, and those likes and brownie points are removed. Student Acer reviews the winner before paying and may pick the next-highest eligible account instead.
Prize. One prize of $50 (US dollars). The winner is contacted at their account’s verified email within 7 days of the contest ending and can choose a $50 Amazon gift card or $50 by PayPal, Venmo or Cash App. Cash apps require the account holder to be 18 or older, so a younger winner can take the gift card or have it sent to a parent or guardian’s account with their permission. If the winner doesn’t respond within 30 days, the prize may go to the next eligible account.
Eligibility. You must have a Student Acer account, which requires being 13 or older. Void where prohibited. The prize isn’t transferable, and the winner is responsible for any taxes.
